The Delegation of East Asia Department of Thai Foreign Ministry Visits NPU

At 14:30 on 6th June, Deputy Director of East Asian Division of Thai Foreign Ministry, Lanmani  Kananula visited NPU, together with her entourage. Mr. Wan Xiaopeng, the assistant to NPU president, with other leaders and professors from different departments and schools, met the guests at the International Conference Center.

Firstly Mr.Wan expressed his warm welcome to the guests and then introduced our university’s achievements in the aspects of education, scientific research and international cooperations. He also pointed out that this visit would deepen the co-understanding for both sides and would improve later exchange programs and scientific research cooperation. Mr. Li Huaxing, the director of the International Cooperation, introduced the policies about our communication and cooperation with other countries. He also hoped that there would be more Thai students to apply for studying in our university and more experts and scholars to come here for exchange programs.

Ms Lanmani Kananula thanked for the warm reception and introduced her visiting plan. She said that NPU is specialized at the researches in the fields of astronautics, aeronautics, marine and new energies. She wanted to learn more about these fields for a better future cooperation. After meeting, the delegation had a visit to Shaanxi small satellite engineering laboratory in the School of Astronautics.
